Software to Trade Foreign Currencies Online

The free currency trading software is intuitive and easy to use. Traders can access all trading functions from the main screen of the online platform. This includes placing buy and sell orders, position and order management, technical charting of different currencies, and margin analysis.

To see specific information about each section of the trading software, click on any of the numbered links. 1. Currency Dealing Boxes: this section of the software displays real time forex rates for a given currency pair and allows traders to buy or sell instantly with a click of the mouse. One of the most widely used features of the trading platform.
2. Currency Rate History: current bid/ask prices for different currencies, including the high and low prices for the current trading day and other forex data.
3. Position Management: live summary of all open currency positions. The position section of the software can be used to place, monitor, and cancel orders.
4. Economic Calendar: weekly listing of upcoming economic reports. The listings include date and time, country issuing the report, forecast, previous and actual figures.
5. Currency Charting: to access the free charting tool of the currency platform, click the “Charting” tab. Some of the charting features are explained below.

6. Margin: click the "Deal Analysis" tab to access real time margin information, profit and loss and account balance.
7. Trading Activity Log: each time a trade is placed or executed, it is registered in the activity log. Every action that is completed or attempted in your currency account gets logged.
8. Deal Blotter: provides information details on all open currency transactions, as well as trades that have been closed out during the actual trading day.
9. Currency News: twenty-four-hour streaming news service from Thomson IFR provides market news and analysis that currency trader's can react to.
10. Platform Log In/Log Out: to log in a trader enters his/her user ID and password - the user can also configure various settings of the trading software.
11. Reports: access to several reports using data from your trading account - for exporting or printing.
12. User Tools: useful tools for currency traders, including COMPASS indicator by Nostradamus.
13. FX Commentary: senior currency traders provide expert analysis on the FX market.

Currency software requirements

For the best results possible, we strongly recommend using Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher to run the online trading software. To be able to see charts bigger and maximize the viewable trading area, traders can press the F11 key on their keyboards. This will cause the trading platform to fill the entire monitor screen. The same effect can be realized by selecting View > Full Screen in the Internet Explorer toolbar.
